Understanding the Tier List

The tier list has different ranks that show how powerful each character is. Here's what each tier means for your gameplay:

• S+ Tier characters are the strongest ones in the game. You can use them in almost any battle, and they will perform well.
• S Tier characters are also very strong but might need specific team setups to work their best. They can handle most content in the game and are worth investing your resources in.
• A Tier characters are good choices that can help you complete most battles. They work well in certain situations. You can use them when you don't have better options.
• B Tier characters are average. They can do their job, but there are usually better choices available. New players might use these characters early in the game before getting stronger ones.
• C and D Tier characters are weak and not recommended. You might need to use them early in the game, but you should replace them as soon as you get better characters.

Best Characters in Lost Sword

Lancelot

Lancelot works differently from most damage dealers because her skills use her health points instead of attack power. Her ultimate skill does massive damage to all enemies and makes her Blazing Sword skill ready to use right away. The Blazing Sword heals her while fighting and gives her a special buff that makes her ultimate attack even stronger.

Her passive skill, Knight of the Lake, reduces cooldowns when she attacks and slowly builds up her critical hit chance over time. She can both tank damage and deal damage at the same time, which makes her very useful. You need to build her with health-focused equipment instead of the usual attack equipment because all her damage comes from her HP.

Tiamat

Tiamat deals the highest damage numbers in the game right now. Her ultimate skill, Breath of Ruin, removes all cooldowns from her other skills and makes them deal more damage for a while. Her passive skills, Authority and Eclipse, give her better critical hits and more attack power while ignoring enemy defenses. Her holy element means she doesn't have weaknesses against any enemy types. The only problem is that she dies easily, so you need a good tank to protect her.

Dian Cecht

While her raw healing output may be lower than dedicated healers, her offensive support capabilities compensate for this limitation. Teams featuring characters like Lancelot or Kay will see substantial performance improvements with Dian Cecht's support.

Galahad is the best pure tank in the game. Her ultimate skill, called Light Bringer, makes all team members completely immune to damage for several seconds. During this time, archer characters get a huge boost to their ranged attack, and wizard characters get an increase to their magic attack. Her active skill, called Divine Shield, reduces damage for all team members for a long time. Her passive ability gives all team members much better defense, which helps them survive longer. She completely changes how battles work because she can make your team invincible when you need it most. Her attack buffs for archers and wizards are some of the strongest in the game. New players should try to get Galahad first because she makes the game much easier.

Merlin has a passive skill that greatly increases her attack power. She also gives all team members a better critical hit rate, which helps your whole team land more critical hits.

Her other passive ability gives all team members shock resistance at the start of battle and also heals everyone a small amount when the fight begins. This makes her great in team compositions that require a healer.

During her transformation, basic attacks help reduce the cooldown of this skill. Kay has passive abilities that boost her attack power and let her ignore enemy damage reduction. Her most important ability is Immortality, which makes her immune to death once per battle and gives her temporary invincibility when she would normally die. She needs lots of investment to reach her full potential, but she becomes very strong when built properly. Kay works well against nature enemies because of her fire element.

Her active skill, called Astral Buster, attacks all enemies and reduces their critical hit chance, so they cannot hurt your team as much. Isabel's passive skill, called Miracle, gives her immunity to many enemy hits at the start of battle. Her damage isn't the highest, but her support abilities make the whole team perform better.
